Kathmandu Secretariat in association with Nepal Bar Association –Young Lawyers Interest Committee organized ‘1st Young Lawyers Summit 2025’ at Rashtriya Sabha Griha, Kathmandu. The summit welcomed over 800 practicing lawyers from Nepal and featured remarks by an Indian lawyer Mr. Anandh Venkataramani alongside the Prime Minister of Nepal, the President of the Nepal Bar Association, the convener of NBA’s Young Lawyers Interest Committee and other distinguished guests. The summit received widespread national media coverage with Prime Television HD broadcasting the entire session live. The summit successfully explored solutions to young lawyers’ concerns in Nepal, the link between legal professionals and federalism, the need for ongoing legal education, and opportunities for collaboration between legal professionals and business developments in Nepal.
