The BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation is proud to have supported the National Cricket Association of Deaf (Nepal) in their involvement in the recently concluded Tri-Nation ODI Tournament held in Kolkata from April 28 to May 6, 2023. Organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association, this event featured the participation of deaf cricket teams from India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

The Foundation extended financial assistance to the Nepali team, ensuring their active participation in the tournament. This support encompassed facilitating their travel and providing essential sports materials. Beyond enhancing the team's sporting abilities, the Foundation's backing aimed to foster inclusivity, raise awareness about deafness, and offer a platform for the deaf community to showcase their skills and inspire others.

During the felicitation event on July 7, 2023, the BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation expressed gratitude to the National Cricket Association of Deaf Nepal and the players from Nepal. They acknowledged the team's resilience in overcoming challenges and commended their sportsmanship. Additionally, the Foundation highlighted how this participation contributed to mutual goodwill between India and Nepal, further strengthening people-to-people ties.
