The Embassy of India in Nepal, in collaboration with Lumbini Development Trust and Lumbini Buddhist University organized the inaugural India-Nepal Cultural Festival in Lumbini on 8 December 2023. The artists from India and Nepal performed Cham Dance, Bharatnatyam, and Tharu Dance. Sukarma Band of Nepal performed a Sitar recital. A large number of audience including school children as well as tourists and pilgrims enjoyed the cultural ensemble.
